- G80 2-leg lifting sling with 3/8 in alloy chain – Heavy-duty lifting sling built with two legs of 3/8 in (approx. 10 mm) G80 alloy steel chain and quality hardware for demanding lifting, rigging and material handling jobs in shops, yards and construction sites.
- 5 ft per leg for compact reach and higher capacity – Each leg has an effective length of about 5 ft (approx. 1.5 m), giving a compact, easy-to-handle reach while the 3/8 in chain size offers higher potential capacity than lighter 5/16 in slings of similar design when used within the working load limit marked on the tag.
- Yellow zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance – Chain links receive a durable yellow zinc-plated coating that helps protect against rust and surface wear in harsh environments, including outdoor storage yards, fabrication shops and general industrial applications.
- Permanent engraved aluminum ID tag for quick checks – Each sling is equipped with a permanent aluminum identification tag engraved with model, rated load, chain size, material, serial number, design factor and brand information so operators can verify the correct sling and maintain inspection records at a glance.
- Angle-rated double-leg rigging – use within tagged limits – The rated working load for this two-leg sling is based on a leg angle (β) of 45°–60° from the vertical (included angle 90°–120°, load factor 1.0). Common rigging charts show a theoretical load factor of about 1.4 at β = 0°–45° (included angle 0°–90°). Always follow your site’s lifting procedures and never exceed the working load limit shown on the tag.
